Weiler call our hollow core VARIOPLUS. Varioplus floors are high quality Precast concrete units which are used in the commercial industrial construction and also more and more in the private housing construction.

The excellence of varioplus are a low net weight compared with excellent static qualities as well as a smooth underneath. Due to the compaction method - pressing and compaction of the concrete under vibration - concrete qualities up to 90 Mpa will be achieved. Due to the high void percentage of up to 45 %, the material demand as well as the net weight of the floor will be reduced compared with traditional systems which ensure less load bearing supporting construction.

The standard width of the panels is 120 cm, they are produced in the following widths: 16.5 cm, 20 cm, 26 cm, 32 cm and 40 cm. Ribbed round bar steel as well as torsioned strand wires are allowed to be used as pre stressed reinforcement.

There are different types:

• Type L for light VARIOPLUS Floor types
• Type S for heavy VARIOPLUS Floor types.
• The two fire resistance classes F30 and F90. Depending on the type of floor, the kind of load, the fire resistance class the pre stressing, spans up to 18 m will be achieved without support.
