Modular Construction: This design allows an individual configuration of equipment depending on the requirements. Basis equipment is the sweeping Machine KM-uni. It has top performance in filling joints with chipping or sand as well as in cleaning surfaces. For water flushing the KM-uni is completed with the Water Flushing Attachment ESV. In case water is not available from the hydrant via a water hose, a water tank can be quickly added to the base unit.

Instead of using the water tank, water can be directly supplied via a hose coupling. Because of a turnable rod the water hose is always outside of the machine’s cruising range.

With the KES VARIOKON one employee can fill comfortably from the driver’s seat the joints of up to 250 sqm pavement per hour. Whereas manual work can do about 30 sqm per hour only. The costs for manual work per square meter are constantly and clearly above 1 Euro in which the additional cost time factor is not included. With mechanical joint filling by water through the KES VARIOKON the cost steeply decline the higher the surface performance per year is: For 5,000 sqm surface performance they amount to EUR 0.52 sqm. Spread on a surface performance of 10,000 sqm the costs per square meter drop to only EUR 0.32 sqm. If one is filling joints of 20,000 sqm pavement per year the costs are mere EUR 0.22 per sqm. Thereby the wheel loader costs are already taken into account.
